Meredew specialised in bedroom furniture and had a factory in Letchworth Garden City and later opened two more in Yorkshire. They thrived in the 50s and 60s but after a series of takeovers, the brand disappeared in 1990. This elegant, low rise, modern dressing table has two spacious drawers, one with a sliding trinkets tray, and a full length balanced adjustable mirror. It is in good condition with the only blemishes being the sunlight faded areas on the top surface where doilies were placed and a little damage to the veneer.
